A large Illawarra based Automotive dealership, the Tory Motor Group (TMG) has branches in Wollongong, Albion Park and Camden.
The company operates 7 Day per week 12 hours per day with minimum sales quotas required to maintain Toyota Status Achievements.
Every function of their operation (sales and service) is dependant on
the availability of their internal ERP solution with active links to
the Toyota plant in Japan for ongoing Quality of Service monitoring.
With the approval of the Japanese Engineers, Unitech I.T. Solutions
designed, developed and implemented a total network solution to link
every location back to the Albion Park Rail office.
The solution incorporated a server farm with active links to Asia. The
inclusion of a state-of-the-art call centre solution designed by Toyota
for their Global network meant stringent requirements regarding design
policies had to be considered when designing the solution.
The solution had to unite the branches, provide enterprise based
benefits to the organisation, improve communication between staff,
improve reliability and integrate with the Call Centre solution
developed in Japan.
Broadband Telecommunication links were established to provide the
framework whilst appropriate server farm and thin client based
technology was implemented to provide the necessary infrastructure to
maintain required uptime and systems access.
As a result, the TMG signed a three year maintenance agreement with
Unitech I.T. Solutions involving further IT investment, maintenance and
service agreements for the entire group.
